Joanne operates Terra Luna Studio in downtown Battle Ground, IN, working in a variety of materials such as metals, wood, stone, clay, and oils. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Purdue University with a focus in painting, and has continued her education in mixed media metals at the Penland School of Craft and in various regional workshops. Joanne is a founding member of the Wabash Artists Alliance, creator of the Women On Woman series of interdisciplinary exhibitions, associated with the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and a founding member of the Artists’ Own co-operative gallery in Lafayette, IN. She has received awards for her sculpture as well as an Individual Artist Grant from the Indiana Arts Commission. |
