Joanne operates Terra Luna Studio in downtown Battle Ground, IN, working in materials such as metals, wood, stone, clay, and oils. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Purdue University with a focus in painting, and has continued her education in different media at the Penland School of Craft and in various regional workshops. Joanne is a founding member of the Wabash Artists Alliance, creator of the Women On Woman series of interdisciplinary exhibitions, associated with the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and most recently as a founding member of the Artists’ Own co-operative gallery in Lafayette, IN. She has received awards for her sculpture as well as an Individual Artist Grant from the Indiana Arts Commission. |
